He has worked in Europe, Africa, Asia, North and South America. Beyond his management skills, Marc's key technical areas of expertise include Health Economics, Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation, and Operations Research.

Since 2004, Marc has developed a specific interest and expertise in Global Fund related activities. He has coordinated and/or contributed to the development of proposals, served as a team leader under the US Government funded Grant Management Solutions (GMS) project in various African and Asian countries, working with CCMs and/or PRs in the technical areas of governance, oversight, grant management, and monitoring & evaluation. He has also worked as a consultant for UNAIDS and UNDP helping with proposal development or Phase II applications. He also mentors MPH students at UCSF in cost-effectiveness studies and is a member of the French College of Health Economists. Finally, Marc has a particular talent for improvisational hairdressing using unconventional materials, such as seaweed, and – when finally at home – for jamming with his kids who still haven't succeeded though in convincing him that rock music didn't die with The Beatles' break-up more than 40 years ago.
