Born in South Africa and now based in Washington DC, Neeraj is a public health physician with 15 years of professional experience in numerous fields, including private sector expertise, notably as co-founder and Vice-President of the Global Business Coalition in New York. GBC is an international organization and Global Fund partner, aiming to increase private sector involvement in the fight against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. Today, Neeraj heads a worldwide network on neglected tropical diseases: as a consultant, he strives to promote multi-sectoral collaboration as a key to helping the world's poorest populations.
