Niger-born, Kadidiatou is a child psychiatrist, specialising in HIV/AIDS. In 1992, she founded the Niamey-based NGO "Mieux vivre avec le sida" (Living better with AIDS), and is a tireless proponent of new health policies and the fight against discrimination in often challenging contexts. She is a trainer of trainers, working with many multilateral organizations, notably WHO and UNFPA. She has worked all over West Africa.
